Time to submit program topic ideas
SARL’s Board of Directors is excited to announce the 2025 Legislative Ag Chairs Summit is set for January 3-5, 2025, in Des Moines, IA. The event will take place at the Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack and Hotel (Altoona, IA).
The Summit program and associated tours are being planned now, so if you have an important topic or an emerging issue you would like to see on the agenda, submit your ideas as soon as possible to Dr. Carolyn Orr at corr@sarl.us. The board will then review submissions, and an agenda will be released in the coming months.
“The Ag Chairs Summit provides an unparalleled non-partisan educational opportunity for elected U.S. state and Canadian provincial officials with an interest in agriculture and rural communities to work together, collaborate and create problem-solving partnerships. We are looking forward to being together again in 2025,” said SARL President Norine Hammond, Representative from Illinois.
This a by-invitation-only event for U.S. state and Canadian provincial elected officials serving on their respective Agriculture or Natural Resources Committees and private industry sponsors.
