The State Agriculture & Rural Leaders (SARL) Summit has been providing an unparalleled non-partisan educational opportunity for elected state and provincial officials with a passion for agriculture and rural communities in both the U.S. and Canada to work together, network, collaborate and create problem-solving partnerships since 2001.
Each year, the pinnacle event is the Legislative Agriculture Chairs Summit. The 2027 Summit will be held January 8-10 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As an invitation-only event, the only participants are sponsors, speakers and elected agricultural leaders.
Sponsorships ensure state and provincial legislators can attend this important and unique event. All of their on-site expenses (registration, rooms, meals, site tours) are covered by SARL, and travel scholarships are available for those without state or campaign travel funds. With continually decreasing state and provincial support for travel, we do not want a lack of state funds to inhibit a legislator’s participation.
Contributions from the private sector and governments are absolutely crucial to accomplishing this program. In the U.S., sponsorship contributions are tax-deductible as SARL is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

There is a sponsorship level to fit every organization – from multinational companies to state level nonprofit organizations. All sponsors are invited to provide input the annual Summit programming, as well propose/host webinar topics and speakers, or share opportunities on other hot-button issues throughout the year.
- Patron – $12,500 Complimentary registration for four attendees, special recognition in Summit promotional materials and communications, plus all Visionary benefits
- Visionary – $10,000 Complimentary registration for three attendees, an opportunity to be recognized at the Summit to introduce your team, plus all Legacy benefits
- Legacy – $7,500 Complimentary registration for two attendees; an opportunity for input to the Summit program and speakers, plus all Heritage benefits
- Heritage – $5,000 Complimentary registration for one attendee, recognition on the Summit website, at the Summit and in the program booklet; invited to include swag in Summit attendee bags
- Special Newcomers Heritage – $3,500 Complimentary registration for one attendee, all Heritage benefits (reserved for first time sponsors)
- Benefactor – $2,500 One representative can attend but must pay an additional $500 registration fee; recognition on the Summit website and in program booklet (reserved for state/regional organizations only)
- Donor – Donations of any amount are accepted to support SARL and its mission, but independently do not qualify for attendance at the Summit. Donors will receive Summit recognition, and donations are tax-deductible, as provided by U.S. federal law.
