Francis Thompson
Thompson is one of the longest serving members of the Louisiana Legislature, first elected to the House in 1975. He was term limited from the House in 2007, when he won a seat in the Senate. He has also been an Assistant Professor at Northeast Louisiana University and Vice President of a manufacturing corporation. Representative O’Neil is serving her first term in the House, she is currently the youngest woman serving in the Maine Legislature.
