Thompson is one of the longest serving members of the Louisiana Legislature, first elected to the House in 1975. He was term limited from the House in 2007, when he won a seat in the Senate. He has also been an Assistant Professor at Northeast Louisiana University and Vice President of a manufacturing corporation. He is now term-limited in the Senate and is seeking a State House seat in 2019. [node:read-more:link]

Margaret O'Neil

Representative O’Neil is serving her first term in the House, she is currently the youngest woman serving in the Maine Legislature. Maggie served an AmeriCorps term with the Maine Conservation Corps and has worked as an assistant Park Ranger at Ferry Beach State Park in Saco. She currently works in the hospitality industry.
